Parents and Guardians,
Our 3-5th grade English Learner/ Emergent Bilingual studentswill take the Summative ELPAC starting Monday (February 5th-16th). The test will be given in the morning. The students will betested in 4 domains (Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing)in English to test their proficiency. They need to score a level 4on this test to reclassify and they only get to take it once a year.Parents may not opt their children out of this test per statemandates. Here are a few tips to help our students do their beston the ELPAC Test:
1. Go to bed early to get a good night sleep the day beforetaking the test.
2. Eat breakfast before taking the test.
3. Encourage students to try their best each day of the test.
4. Be on time to school, as all late students will need to completea make-up test at another time on a different day.
